Niño Se Vuelve Serpiente Emplumada

Mientras el entorno se mece, negándole un futuro prometedor al niño, diciéndole que no se puede, su mundo interno le grita que sí. Y mientras camina se llena de plumas, y cada pluma es un sueño y sus sueños lo hacen volar. Dedico esta obra a esos niños que volarán aún cuando vayan caminando.

While the environment trembles and denies this child a promising future by telling him or her “it cannot be done”, his or her soul and mind scream that it can be done. And as he or she walks, feathers appear on their body and each feather is a dream, and these dreams make the child fly. I dedicate this piece to all the children who are flying even as they walk.

Inspirado por ese monumento al Danzante de la Pluma, estoy creando réplicas hechas de resina. Pinto en el penacho de cada una de estas obras un tema distinto, lo cuál las hace únicas.

Inspired by the phenomenal 13 meter Dancer of the Feather sculpture, I am creating its replicas in resin and oil paint. I have painted each headdress with an original image and theme, making each one distinctive and unique.
